Note that hose length (select on the next page) is measured from the floor to the top of the sock as worn (i.e. about two inches below the knee). Tartan hose are never identical to a kilt fabric, but compliment it. When you specify your tartan, our expert producer will choose for you the best marls (background colours) and lines, based on years of experience. However, if you are anxious for the closest match possible, you can send us a swatch of your tartan. (Or we can organise this if you are buying your kilt from us at the same time.)
